Holidays to Bali for domestic tourists can be done again since July 31, 2020. But of course, there are conditions that must be met in order to have a holidays in Bali.
These conditions have changed several times by looking at the developments that have occurred. Well, the Terms conditions for a travel to Bali during the New Normal era have now changed again in 2021
Changes to the conditions for a Holidays to Bali have been stipulated by the Governor of Bali Circular Number 07 of 2021, plus the restriction rules during Ramadan and Idul Fitri 1442H
What are the changes to the conditions for a vacation to Bali?
Requirements that must be met for a vacation to Bali

Changes to the requirements that tourists must meet for a vacation to Bali were made after previously tightening the entry requirements to Bali during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Although it has not changed much, at least for passengers flying to Denpasar (DPS), now they are no longer obliged to show a negative result of the PCR test, but they can also use the negative result of the rapid antigen test.
The same requirements also apply to travelers traveling by land and sea transportation, but the difference is in the length of time that the negative PCR or Rapid Antigen Test result is valid.
The following are the complete vacation requirements to Bali:
Requirements that must be met for traveling to Bali *

  1. If traveling to Bali by airplane, it is MANDATORY to show one of these certificates:
    • H PCR test with a negative result which is done no later than 2×24 hours before departure, or
    • A negative result of the rapid antigen test issued a maximum of 2×24 hours before departure, or
    • Negative result of Genoese C19 test within 1 x 24 hours before departure.
  2. If traveling to Bali by land and sea transportation, it is MANDATORY to show a negative result of the PCR test or the Rapid Antigen Test issued no later than 3×24 hours before departure.
  3. Children under 5 years of age are not required to have a negative result of the PCR test or the Antigen test.
  4. Fill out a Health Alert Card (HAC) which can be done electronically via an application or physically at the airport.

2021 Eid Homecoming Prohibition Policy
As has been widely reported, the Central Government has officially banned Lebaran homecoming to celebrate Idul Fitri 1442 H. This policy was taken to reduce the rate of transmission of the Covid-19 disease in order to prevent a second wave pandemic and will take effect during the period 6-17 May 2021.
During that period, exceptions were only granted for logistics distribution services and travel for urgent needs, namely: official travel, sick family visits, grief visits because a family member died, pregnant women who were accompanied by 1 family member, and the interests of accompanying childbirth a maximum of 2 people.


According to the Covid-10 Task Force Circular No. 13 of 2021, during the period 6-17 May 2021, all prospective travel passengers are required to have travel permits from related agencies, or travel permits in / out (SIKM for trips to/out of Jakarta).
For the travel permit in question, the details are like this:
Travel Permits That Must Be Bring During 6-17 May 2021:
Government employees (ASN), BUMN / BUMD employees, TNI soldiers, and members of the National Police: Print out a written permit from an Echelon II level official equipped with a wet/electronic signature and identity of the traveler
Private employees: Print out a written permit from the company manager, which includes a wet/electronic signature and identity of the traveler
Informal sector workers: Print out a written permit from the Village Head / Lurah which includes the wet/electronic signature of the Village Head / Lurah and the identity of the traveler
General non-working community: Print out a written permit from the Village Head / Lurah which includes the wet/electronic signature of the Village Head / Lurah and the identity of the traveler
All of the requirements above apply not only to travel by plane but also to users of land, train, sea, and air transportation who travel across cities/regencies/provinces.

Including trips to or from Bali.
In addition, prospective domestic aircraft passengers are also required to complete a Travel Statement in the Context of Controlling Covid-19 in Indonesia provided by airlines.
